Global Volunteer Network Foundation Partners with TheBigDay

TheBigDay has recently joined in a partnership with the Global Volunteer Network Foundation. GVN is an organization that provides volunteer positions throughout the world. The GVN home office is located in Wellington, New Zealand and has a staff of eighteen whose role is to facilitate the placement of volunteers and to support the work of GVN partners.
GVN volunteers now have the opportunity to sign up with TheBigDay.com to create a registry to help fund their travel to the destination where they have chosen to volunteer. The registry is an easy way for family and friends to give financial help for transportation costs.
